With 3 new backpacks for 2020, HTO continues the
new line products. They really cover every need of an angler, from the smallest
to the largest enough, continuing the company's tradition as value for money.
But let's look at them one by one, starting with the largest.
HTO Sling Bag
The larger of the 3 new models can be used for
literally any fishing trip. Ιt's
dimensions are 30x23x12cm and weighs 595gr. Made of
durable 420D Nylon, water resistant and easily washable material is the epitome
of the practical backpack. And this is because it can be hang from the shoulder
but also become a waist bag thanks to the extra side clips! But it also has a
carrying handle if we go somewhere close.
The main space fits quite large boxes, while the front space takes a lot of accessories such as slings, scissors, flash light, etc., while it is supported with side bindings to create a small table while we are standing!
There is an extra case at the front for small accessories such as
clips, etc. All the zippers are heavy-duty plastic for seawater resistance, and
judging by the previous models, they are really excellent.
HTO Hip Bag
The medium size of the new models. . Ιt's dimensions are 20x28x12cm and weighs 560gr. Designed to carry only the essentials, it is the backpack <I take and I leave>. On the sides it has a case for pliers or scissors that secures with velcro on one side, and a peculiar buttoned round case on the other that the company proposes for a landing net handle rod or a bottle of water, etc. The construction material here is also the Oxford Nylon 420D.
On the occasion let's say a few things about what
this Nylon is. It was originally made to replace silk in parachutes, and then
used where we want durability, good sense of texture and with proper treatment, waterproofing. Oxford is the type
of seam, wavy with the knits following each other up and down, giving maximum
grip on the hand and no slipping. The "D" in "420D nylon"
means "Denier" which is the measurement of how much a single thread
weighs 9000 meters in grams. The reference point is silk, which weighs about 1
gram for a single thread 9000 meters
long. So it weighs 420 grams a single nylon thread 9 km long. Also nylon is
much stronger than polyester, so Nylon 420D is stronger than 600D Polyester.

HTO Light Game Bag
The Benjamin of the series is very similar to his middle brother in design. . Ιt's dimensions are 15x20x8cm and weighs 298gr. It is made of the same material, and it also has the same side pockets. In the main space it takes only one Tronix Pro Component Box Medium case and is separated by a zipper. The tongue here covers half the bag with space for accessories. However, it can also be used either for the shoulder or the waist.
HTO's new backpacks will cover every need either
when we go somewhere close to our car and do not want to carry many things, or
especially when we have a space problem such as a motorcycle or we go on an
excursion-vacation and we have to take the absolutely necessary. The set up
